Podcasting :: How To
Podcasting is “series of digital media files, either audio or video, that is released episodically and downloaded through web syndication.” What this means to you is that you can set up your mp3 player or audio program to automatically check to see if there is a new study available from this website and then download it for you. How to do that varies by mp3 player and program, so you may have to check your documentation. We’ll go through how to set it up in iTunes for you here. iTunes is available free for Mac and PC at apple.com
Open iTunes and on the left hand side select “Podcasts”. Go up to the top menu and select “Advanced” and then “Subscribe to Podcasts”.
A window will pop up. Type in the feed address, which in our case is “http://calvarychapelgrangeville.com/?feed=podcast” (without the quotes).
Then we hit OK and on the left we can go to “Downloads” and see it starting to download.
From here on, every time you open iTunes it will check to see if there are new files and if there are, it will download them for you!
